A mandatory standard for corded internal window coverings (blinds and curtains) was declared on 8 July 2010 as the Trade Practices (Consumer Product Safety Standard – Corded Internal Window Coverings) Regulations 2010. The mandatory Standard will apply to relevant blinds and curtains supplied after 30 December 2010.
