POLICY

Our HSE Statement

In 2007, our CEO made our commitment official through the HSE Group Statement.


This document is the blueprint of our HSE management system: it is displayed in all sites and presented in all the induction training courses, and all the HSE actions that are launched within the Group derive from it.

INDICATORS

Quantified goals have been set up to address three safety and three environmental performance indicators (KPIs) for Bureau Veritas operations and the implementation of its HSE Management System. Biannual reporting was started in 2007 to monitor the company’s performance.


The safety performance indicators are tracked worldwide, covering all Bureau Veritas entities.

This is equivalent to the number of work-related lost-time accidents

per 100 employees

Environmental performance indicators

The collected energy, water and paper consumption information is used to calculate Group environmental indicators which are the evolutions of:

  •  Energy consumption compared to previous year;
  •  Water consumption compared to previous year;
  •   Paper consumption compared to previous year.
