Bureau Veritas will hold two training seminars on “nuclear equipment fabrication standard” in London, on October, 13-14, 2010.
Theses training courses are aimed at utilities, design authorities, and supply chain vendors who need to better understand this essential standard within the context of the UK nuclear power plant projects. It is an ideal opportunity to hear from experts in the field who have previous experience in the development and use of RCC-M standards.
RCC-M is the French standard for the design and construction of pressurised equipment relating to the nuclear island of pressurised water reactor power plants. It has been upgraded several times since the issue of the first version of the standard in 1981, and at the end of 2007, RCC-M standards underwent a major upgrade. The code has since been further updated to keep abreast of the advancements in the design, construction and examination of the European Pressurised Water Reactor (EPR).
